Product Overview
The Kyoritsu 5406A is a high-precision RCD tester engineered to accurately measure RCD trip time and verify the correct operation of residual current protection devices. Powered by a custom microprocessor, it delivers reliable and repeatable test results while compensating for supply voltage fluctuations through constant current source circuitry.
The tester supports 0° and 180° phase angle testing, Auto Ramp functionality for determining actual trip current, and testing of Standard, Selective (S), AC, and Type A (DC-sensitive) RCDs. Three LED indicators provide instant wiring status verification, while the large digital display clearly shows measured trip times. Built to IP54 protection standards and compliant with IEC 61557, the 5406A is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical testing.
